A prototype of Tetsuwan Atom for the Super Famicom.
Notes
- Predates the game's release by about four months.
- Estimated to be about 60% complete according to the cartridge label.
- The demo which appears when idling at the title screen is not implemented.
- The Config option in the title screen takes the player to a stage selection menu rather than a button configuration screen.
- Levels 1, 3, 4.1, and 7 cannot be accessed.
- As such, the first level that can be accessed in the prototype is Level 2.
- Level 4.0 is the same as Level 3 in the final game.
- Levels 1, 3, 4.1, and 7 cannot be accessed.
- The player starts with a limit of 5 hearts in the prototype, which was reduced to 3 in the final game.
- The sound effect that would play when Atom is walking is not present.
- The charging for the rocket boots takes much longer than the final game.
- The player has 9 continues instead of 3. The music in the continue screen is different as well.
