A beta build of TrackMania: Power Up! update. Also known as TrackMania Update 2 Beta 1 (version 1.2.1).

Notes

• Contains the installer and the installed version.
• The build date may not be accurate.
• Requires TrackMania 1.0/1.1 to be installed before installing this update.
• The game uses StarForce Copy Protection System 3.03 (see tm.dll version info), which does not work on modern versions of Windows. It is possible to run it in Windows XP via a virtual machine.
• The protection drivers can cause damages to modern versions of Windows. Do NOT run this game on your system.
• Despite all other builds launching just fine, Beta 1 fails CD copy protection check for unknown reasons.

Origin

While the exact details of the builds origins are unknown, it is speculated, that it was distributed on the official TrackMania forum in 2004. It would later be uploaded to a personal website and snapshot archived in 2006 on the Wayback Machine. [1]
