A European demo build of Vexx for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- Dated 5 weeks before the final NTSC build and just under 5 weeks after the preview disc.
- Copyright screen has been partially tweaked when compared to the preview and the Vexx intro is much shorter here with no background video and instead is a simple transition.
- Some assets are identical to retail (HUD and voice acting for example) while others such as the texturing of models and overworlds have been carried over from the prior build.
- Both the main and pause menu have a unique layout where you can try out a list of Vexx's moves with their button patterns shown on the opposite side, this also means you need to press Start to confirm your prompts rather than X.
- As a result many options that would normally be visible (including your inventory or adjusting settings) are either inaccessible here or have been gutted out for this demo.
- Timberdale begins with you leaving the temple and an invisible wall is placed between the stone doors preventing entry, you also only start off with 3 lives instead of 5.
