This prototype has a research article on TCRF.

• Compiled almost three months before the final US build (the first retail build).
• Preview build.
• Boots to a different Project Wallace&Gromit screen. Since this is a preview build, the tentative release date is on this screen.
• Starts with a trailer of the game using a prototype build (as evidenced by the "MSv2" on the lower right hand corner) before the title screen.
• Pressing the L trigger while on the title screen loads up a level select.
• Debugging strings and prompts are present.
• A test level called the "PlayGround" is present on the level select and can be loaded in game.
• "A1.33" appear on the bottom right hand corner of the screen at all times.
