A prototype of Wild 9 for the PlayStation.
Notes
- Surprisingly early; to the point that there are no intro logos, disclaimers, intro sequences, etc.
- It goes straight to the title/main menu which is a simple level select list.
- The screen even shows the dev stage of this build (65%, as it claims)
- A music plays on the menu that isn't in the final
- When a level is chosen, a controls instructions screen appears, which also serves as the loading screen
- Different theme plays on the first level (Bombopolis). Layout differences to the final
- Very different status bar during gameplay
- Different hint object, as well as the hint text.
- Grunt enemies appear different. They also take more damage.
- Colorful "Energy" message displays when the energy orbs are picked up from destroyed enemies.
- Fewer voice clips from Wex
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable: Yes (as of April 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
- Game contains debugging symbols: N/A
- Dump was originally scrambled: No
