Notes

  • This build does appear to work on Xenia Canary. Will need to be tested on RGH.
    • Crashes are common.
    • If you sit in the menus, an infinite loading screen will eventually start.
    • Once you start any map, the map never loads and you get an infinite loading screen.

Details

The 30 different perks got reduced to the standard ones we see in Release. The Blackhat looks like a walky talky.

Weapons and their images are more detailed and updated from the (Nov 15, 2011) build but they are still very early in appearance. Some models are still bland.

  • XPR-50 is the AS-50. The model very faintly resembles it if you stare at it long enough. Kinda looks like a modern version of the PTRS-41 in WAW.
  • HAMR has a tripod.

Multiplayer features a plethora of maps that are very early in development judging by the thumbnails.

  • Plaza was Night Club at this point.
  • The only maps that look like release are:
    • Aftermath
    • Cargo
    • Turbine
    • Yemen

Game Mode Logos are from Black Ops 1:

  • Standard
  • Search and Destroy
  • Domination
  • Demolition
  • Capture the Flag

There are some game modes that never made it to release:

  • Resistance - Teams alternate in attacking and defending flags, all of which must be captured by the attacking team to win.
    • Likely got turned into One Flag Capture after release.
  • Purgatory - Use teamwork to kill enemy players and eliminate the entire team. Each time you kill an enemy player a player on your team will respawn.
    • Maybe time constraints or wasn't found to be fun.
  • Team Defender - Grab and hold the flag. The team with the flag earns bonus points for every kill.
    • Was probably planned to return from MW3.
  • Hunted - Retrieve Care Packages to upgrade your loadout and increase your odds of winning.
    • This mode was later added in COD Ghosts. This would have been super fun in BO2's gameplay.
  • Hacker - Hack enemy A.G.Rs for massive score!
    • The infamous mode that cut before release.
