Download Bypass Patch (info) |
A multiplayer prototype of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for the Microsoft Xbox 360.
Patch prevents you from being kicked every 5 seconds on RGH.
If the patch does not work, its an issue on your end.
Please update resolution to this but I believe going offline and using an offline acc fixes this.
For Xenia, the patch fixes the random crashing.
Notes
Build is 116 days before release.
Check below tabs for what to expect based on Xenia/RGH
RGH Expectations
- You get kicked to the MP menu about every 5 seconds. (Patched)
- If you view killstreaks in the local menu, there is a 50% chance you will glitch into the Public MP menu.
- When you get kicked, go to System Link-Create Game, get kicked, and streaks will unlock again in local.
Xenia Canary Expectations
- Crashes are common for Xenia.
- If you sit in the menus, an infinite loading screen will eventually start for Xenia.
- Maps load, but will crash without using CPU affinity. After a while, you can turn all cores back on.
- The patch appears to fix the random crashing/freezing.
Details

- Nearly all weapons are modeled completely - Their logos and names are not up to date - Some sounds are not release.
- Killstreaks are identical to release.
- Maps are in varying stages of development.
- Aftermath - Release
- Cargo - Release
- Carrier - Pretty Early
- Drone - Complete, just missing the outside mountains/terrain.
- Express - Fairly Early but not as old as its loading image.
- Hijacked - Pretty Early
- Meltdown - Pretty Early
- Nuketown - Map file not present, will not load.
- Overflow - Near Release, some models are low poly.
- Plaza - A completely different map known as Night Club that was basically scrapped.
- Raid - Pretty Early
- Slums - Pretty Early, also has different routes.
- Standoff - Pretty Early, called Village.

Game Mode Logos are from Black Ops 1:
- Standard
- Search and Destroy
- Domination
- Demolition
- Capture the Flag
Unreleased Game Modes:
- Resistance - Teams alternate in attacking and defending flags, all of which must be captured by the attacking team to win.
- Likely got turned into One Flag Capture after release.
- Not tested.
- Purgatory - Use teamwork to kill enemy players and eliminate the entire team. Each time you kill an enemy player a player on your team will respawn.
- Maybe time constraints or wasn't found to be fun.
- Not tested.
- Team Defender - Grab and hold the flag. The team with the flag earns bonus points for every kill.
- Was probably planned to return from MW3.
- Not tested.
- Hunted - Retrieve Care Packages to upgrade your loadout and increase your odds of winning.
- This mode was later added in COD Ghosts. This would have been super fun in BO2's gameplay.
- Works, it functions pretty similar to Ghosts but the care packages have a long wait between them and they also drop streaks but streaks aren't deployable in this build.
- Hacker - Hack enemy A.G.Rs for massive score!
- The infamous mode that was cut before release.
- Works, you gain score from AGRs killing enemies. The gameplay loop was real cut and dry so was probably cut from internal feedback.
