A prototype of Call of Duty: Black Ops II for the Xbox 360.

Notes

  • First playable alpha build of Origins DLC, formerly La Tombeau.
    • Functionally complete in terms of gameplay, artpass not yet started. Contains MP-exclusive weapons as purchaseable placeholders.
  • Contains three working executables:
    • default_mp.xex: Main multiplayer executable. It is hardcoded to always load the Zombies game mode, regardless of whether standard MP is forced on via the startMultiplayer console command or if it is launched via the main menu. Attempting to launch into the Black Ops 2 maps or the legacy World at War/Black Ops 1 maps from within the lobby will not work due to missing content, and one map location (marked as T5 #8) will cause the UI layer to crash and restart the game with code 65111.
    • The development executable this build is tied to (CoDMP.exe) is not recoverable.
    • For the CoDMP.exe to work on Xenia, replace this (for CoDMP.exe) xenia configuration file with the existing one.
    • default.xex/CoDSP.exe: Does not launch due to missing singleplayer content.
  • Contains raw Lua object code for all singleplayer and multiplayer UI elements as of this build, present in a zipfile named luadebug.zip.
  • The following legacy maps are available in the world map, and can be borrowed from the later August 10, 2013 build:
    • Nacht der Untoten (zm_prototype; from World at War)
    • Verruckt (zm_asylum; from World at War)
    • Shi no Numa (zm_sumpf; from World at War)
    • Der Riese (zm_factory; from World at War)
    • Kino der Toten (zm_theater; from Black Ops 1)
    • Five (zm_pentagon; from Black Ops 1)
    • Ascension (zm_cosmodrome; DLC map from Black Ops 1)
    • Moon (zm_moon; DLC map from Black Ops 1)
    • Shangri-La (zm_temple; DLC map from Black Ops 1)
