A public fundraiser to secure various Sega Saturn prototype discs was conducted sometime in 2021 by the Obscure Gamers community. The builds available for purchase were primarily used for magazine reviews and previews somewhere in the PAL region. This release also contains a few PlayStation 1 and Xbox builds as well. A total of around 78 discs were acquired and dumped. The dumps were released on May 8th, 2021.
All discs have been dumped with a Plextor PX-W4012TA on latest firmware (kindly donated by Merlin), and with DICUI unless the discs had C2 errors. In which case they're dumped with CloneCD. We tried dumping with other drives but, the Plextor still gave the best results so all are Plextor dumps.
The Saturn build dates are based on the most recent file as mastering time stamps were wrong in cases.
