Frogger 2 Motherload Lot

Hello everyone! Today we're partnering with Highway Frogs for the release of the Frogger 2 Motherload Lot!
Highway Frogs not only obtained a full development archive of Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge, but also spent hundreds of hours preparing for this release.
What could they have possibly spent hundreds of hours on, you may ask. Isn't releasing prototypes as simple as dumping CDs/ROMs, and uploading them online?
Here are some of the things they did:
- Over 1000 Pages of Paper Documents needed to be scanned, deskewed, and turned into PDFs.
- Over 200 audio tracks were rendered/mastered extremely carefully using original hardware such as the Yamaha EX-5 and original software like SoundForge 4.0.
- The "End of Project" Tape was damaged by a data recovery company, and it took months of reverse-engineering to recover the data ourselves. ([More Info])
- Source Code Repos for 7 different games/consoles were byte-matched, and made easy to build on modern computers.
- Tools were made for working with some of the backups, such as a 3D object converter, or a compiler/decompiler for game scripts, and more.
- Some prototypes were built using source code/assets found within the backups.
- Almost every single file (> 60k) was thoroughly investigated for any hidden data, what software used it, etc.
- Also juggling several other releases of similar magnitude at the same time. (Coming soon)
- A mod fixing Frogger 2's compatibility issues on modern computers, aka the "Frogger 2 Enhanced PC Port".
- Tons more.
Thank you to Highway Frogs for the big release! There were many people involved in making this release happen, so check out the credits on the release page.
Until next time!
