A prototype of Kya: Dark Lineage for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- A few selected scenarios are playable
- By writing 0x01 to address 06F15B1 in the EE RAM, an extended version of the pause menu can be unlocked, featuring things like saving and loading functions, an options menu, and a Cheat options menu similar to the one in the September 29 build.
- The cheat menu allows to: disable E3DemoMode, which disables the triggers that end the demo segments when reaching certain parts of the maps; enable flying (initiated with R2+R3); enable invincibility; and open all the shell elevators. It also features a submenu from which the player can teleport to any world
- This version features all the worlds from the final game, including the ones not featured in the demo segments (apart from the secret LEVEL_13), all of which are in different stages of completion and resemblance to the worlds in the final game
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of March 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
