A prototype of LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 3.
Notes
- The serial is BCES01663 (EU Region).
- Dated about a year and 5 months before final build.
- This build was pitched to Sony and accepted to be worked into the finalized version of LittleBigPlanet 3.
- A majority of the game's content was stripped from this build (levels, popit items, etc) due to being designed as a demo build. This can be partly fixed by simply merging September 7, 2013 prototype's blurayguids.map and data.farc files with this build's files. Same can be done for the files in the gamedata folder without overwriting the Pitch build's files.
- As a bonus of merging September 7, 2013 prototype's blurayguids.map and data.farc with this build's files is it fixes annoying errors with hovering over logic and decals and tweak menus for some objects with any popit cursor.
- You can almost play this build with a debug menu if you copy the EBOOT.BIN file of the September 7, 2013 prototype to this build. The build will load up to the pod and will crash the moment you spawn.
- If you pause the game in time, you can access the debug menu with every debug option that was used up to the September 7, 2013 prototype.
- There is another extensive menu that can be accessed from the web browser on your PC by connecting to your PS3's IP. Some features of it can work properly if you merge the files of September 7, 2013 prototype with this build since it has the files necessary for certain features of the webpage to function.
- This features much earlier game mechanics and slightly earlier versions of levels seen in the September 7, 2013 prototype. In comparison to the final game, it is drastically different.
- Every option in the pod's main menu except for Adventure button isn't selectable and therefore, the game has to be manually patched to remove the restriction.
- Timestamps on each file listed in blurayguids.map is fairly accurate to when they were added in the files throughout LBP3's development up to this build which isn't normally the case with any other LBP prototype.
- Development assets for LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2 unique to this build can be found in the files.
