Notes
The Cutting Room Floor research
- Dated about 11 months before the final build, and exactly one year before the game's North American release.
- Debugging features are enabled by default.
- The game features more developed versions of the levels seen in the September 7, 2013 prototype, with the addition of character-specific prototype levels and an early iteration of Bunkum Lagoon.
- A handful of levels that would go on to appear in the final game (namely Needlepoint Peaks, Crumbling Crypts, Go Loco, and Masque Maker's Tower) are present with varying degrees of polish.
- An early version of Swoop with different flight mechanics is present, replacing the long-necked avian character from the previous build.
- The game is prone to running out of memory and crashing in certain situations which occurs more often on PS3 than RPCS3 due to it's 256MBs of RAM.
Miscellaneous Notes
- Game is emulatable (In RPCS3): Yes (as of February 8, 2025) with patches.
RPCS3 Boot Notes
- In order to run the build with these patches on RPCS3, you will need to delete data.edat from USRDIR.
