This is the FirstEA (First Build) Of Rec Room Publicly Released (We pray for the May Playtest build). Missing most of the features that we saw in modern Rec Room (Turning, Walking Locomotion, Jumping, Quests and a couple of activities) A very boring build to make a long story short. Cameron Brown (Founder of Rec Room) sent out a reddit post to the r/Vive community which stated.
"Looking for beta testers for "Rec Room"
Hey r/vive… we are a small VR game developer based in Seattle. We are making Rec Room, a virtual reality social club where you play active games against competitors from all around the world! Here's a sneak peek at a very early test of our avatar system:

That's me looking into a mirror in the changing room, and one of our other devs joined my game to say hi!
Online multiplayer is a major focus for us, and we could really use some help testing out the performance of the games under real-world conditions. We'd also love to get feedback on any and all aspects of the game. It's early days for Rec Room, for our company, and for VR in general. So there's a lot of learning to do!
We won't be ready for testing for another couple of weeks (so end of May), but I thought I'd start asking now to get a sense for how many people out there might be willing/able to help us out.
If this seems interesting to you, and you'd like to be part of bringing Rec Room to VR by providing "real world" feedback, let's talk!"
"(EDIT: This is awesome! Thanks so much everyone, really looking forward to sharing the game with you. We've been having a lot of fun with it internally, hoping it's as much fun "in the wild". As I mentioned, we're a couple of weeks away from actually sending links to builds, so I will reach out to each of you as the time approaches.)"
Notes
No RebornRec launcher is needed since RecNet didn't exist.
Launches with no issues on Windows 11.
HMD needs to be connected to play. (Unless you enable debug camera in one of the DLL's)
Unity Explorer can be hooked to the build to access beta activity scenes (frisbee, recnet, recroom, And a couple of others.)
