A preview prototype of WipEout Fusion for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- Predates the final build by a month.
- Credits are unfinished with various names not mentioned in the final 'Special Thanks' section and completely missing categories for sound, voice-over artists and the www.wipeoutzone.com shout-out.
- Both the default best lap times and zone scores are missing their unique codes with every zone score also being set to level 10 rather than level 25.
- The music playlist contains a wide range of differences (mainly around naming conventions) including the addition of Plump DJ's remix of Take It Easy by Mint Royale, which was removed in the final build.
- Music and sound volume were originally at the same level.
- The 'Brake Force' and 'Lateral Stability' labels are switched around here, while the final reverted this without actually reflecting the values to match this.
- Race money was way more generous in AG League with even last place being able to earn credits.
- The unlock everything code does not appear to be in this build while the rest from final are accepted here.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of May 26, 2024).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
