*This potential date of this prototype is sometime between late February and early April, with the most likely candidate being late March. This has been determined by looking at the June 25th 1999 source code, and looking at the file creation dates of each of the source files, and comparing the code in those source files to what can be found in this build.
*The main menu has spirits flying around, a reference to the internal development team nickname "Team Spirit".
*This is the only known build containing the playable Frogger arcade game recreation. It was removed from the source code when the PC + N64 codebases were merged together.
*The reason one of the levels is called "Flat Level" is because previous builds allegedly contained spherical worlds, some of which have images and 3D models present in development backups.

Notes

The Cutting Room Floor research
  • This potential date of this prototype is sometime between late February and early April, with the most likely candidate being late March. This has been determined by looking at the June 25th 1999 source code, and looking at the file creation dates of each of the source files, and comparing the code in those source files to what can be found in this build.
  • The main menu has spirits flying around, a reference to the internal development team nickname "Team Spirit".
  • This is the only known build containing the playable Frogger arcade game recreation. It was removed from the source code when the PC + N64 codebases were merged together.
  • The reason one of the levels is called "Flat Level" is because previous builds allegedly contained spherical worlds, some of which have images and 3D models present in development backups.
