A prototype of an unreleased variant of the Activision TV Games Plug & Play system running on SNES hardware.

Notes

  • Developed by DC Studios for Toymax
  • The released version runs on NES hardware
  • This prototype is comprised of three separate ROMs:
    • freeway-20-06-00.smc contains Freeway
    • 3game-20-06-00.smc contains the main menu and three games (Crack Pots, Pitfall, and Boxing); selecting any other game goes back to the main menu
    • hockey-20-06-00.smc contains Ice Hockey
  • SHL-20-06-00.SMC, in the original prototype release, is a duplicate of hockey-20-06-00.smc
  • X can be used to leave a game
  • Visuals appear as intended on ZSNES compared to other emulators
  • Has an associated readme file, labeled readme2.txt:
Mark,

Run from batch files..

freeway.bat, icehockey.bat	-	Run these individually, they dont run from within
