Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles (Prototype A)
Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles (Prototype B)
Super Bomberman 2 (Prototype)
Super Bomberman 3 (Prototype)
Ghoul Patrol (PAL build)
Discuss this release on the boards here!
We have some more prototypes courtesy of Radar as part of his lot from Virgin!
Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles (Prototype A)
Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles (Prototype B)
First up we have some nice prototypes of Doom Troopers: Mutant Chronicles for the SNES. These prototypes feature different level layouts, music, and some other aesthetic differences as well. The latest prototype has a level select activated after the character select screen which should let you play all that the prototype offers. However, the level select isn’t active by default for the earliest prototype. We were able to hack the level select back on and have included the ROM in the same archive as the unaltered one.
Super Bomberman 2 (Prototype)
Super Bomberman 3 (Prototype)
Next we have some prototypes from the Super Bomberman series! The Super Bomberman 3 prototype is the same prototype that’s already in no-intro, but the new dump confirms that the dump that exists is correct. That prototype in particular has some minor changes in some of the stages as far as layout goes. The prototype of Super Bomberman 2 is new however, and is a localization prototype of the US version. This prototype contains some minor differences.
For the sake of completion, we are also including this altered PAL build of Ghoul Patrol for the SNES. This build is exactly the same as the final European release, but the checksum and product ID are different.
Until next time!
