Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Last month we were offered yet another pick from the same lot. The community came through and were able to acquire a little over 50 of the 60 or so discs available!

Just like last time, the majority of the prototypes were dumped using Redump standards where possible. There were some discs that have mastering mistakes that caused issues with DiscImageCreator, so we had to use CloneCD instead. Otherwise, we only had four discs from this lot that had issues being dumped at all. We had a prototype of Beatmania that refused to read correctly in any drive (and was only barely recognized by our PX-4012 drive). We had a Blade and Shaolin review prototype that couldn't be dumped correctly due to being burnt on one of the worst CD-Rs imaginable (Princo CD-Rs). And finally, we had a disc of Star Gladiator: Episode 1 The Final Crusade that wouldn't dump correctly. However, there were no serious defects that would ever prevent the disc from being read ever again, and might be fixable someday. We'll review the prototypes we weren't able to dump someday when new opportunities come up to try again, either through disc resurfacing or perhaps something that can read the disc through other means.

We'd like to thank all those who donated for all the prototypes featured in this lot. We'd like to thank andlabs, b-damandude, baruk0, Cliff Racer, DarthDub, Demon, DRW, burninrubber0, ehw, Fred Wood, GoldS, Hexatendo, HorrorTroll, kabojnk, KailoKyra, Kneesap, kuriatsu, LedInfrared, mementomori, Missle, OKeijiDragon, Protodude, RetroReversing.com, Sappharad, Sazpaimon, StarlightChaos, The Swarming Dark, TheAdmiester, TiKAL, TONY9675, XJR9000, mlk, ndiddy, Quazz, Xkeeper, ZeaLiTy, and Zoda-Y13. Without your help we would have never been able to acquire and preserve so many prototypes.

Stay tuned for some more treats very soon!

Until next time!
