A prototype of Crazy Taxi for the PlayStation 2.

Notes

  • Prototype contains no music and only some sound effects. No voice clips anywhere.
  • PAL prototype.
  • Prototype has a small profiler enabled to view utilization.
  • If you hit select on controller 2 a free camera mode activates. You can manipulate the camera using controller 2 while still controlling the game.
  • Game lacks any sort of vertex lighting so all polygons appear flat.
  • The game demo after the title screen desyncs.
  • Only the arcade mode is playable. The Crazy Box crashes while attempting to load any mission.
  • Dated two months before the final USA build.
  • Miscellaneous Notes:
    • Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of March 17, 2021).
    • Game contains dongle protection: No.
